Bill brings a wealth of “hands-on” financial and operational experience to any business situation.  He has the interactive skills to effectively deal with all levels of any organization to accomplish the mission, from the owners and board of directors to the customers, employees and vendors. 

He has led companies through the challenges of high growth and contraction, and is particularly adept at operational and process improvement resulting in more productivity per employee.  Bill is focused on reducing the pressure business owners face from daily issues that interfere with meeting corporate goals.  He helps establish business measurement systems and integrate them into the infrastructure in order to produce accurate and timely financial statements, maximize efficiencies, control costs, boost revenues, and manage change. 

During his career, Bill has obtained significant success in designing, implementing and measuring relevant progress in strategic plans that set the Company’s direction and drive profitability.  Financial strengths include budgeting, forecasting, multi-year financial modeling, financial reporting, cash flow projections and capital acquisition.  He has developed leadership teams, mentored and developed employees, performed ERP system design and implementation, improved communication and overall human resources. 

Bill began his career in Public Accounting with McManamon, Gilbert and Doeringer, a large regional CPA firm in Northeastern Ohio after obtaining his B.S. Degree in Accounting from Arizona State University in 1985. 

Bill joined Border Products in 1989 when the Company had three locations and approximately $10 Million in revenue.  In 2002, Border acquired Marvel Building and Masonry Supply and through greenfield and acquisition growth, Bill helped build the Company to 14 locations and $110 Million in revenue.  As CFO and owner, Bill successfully planned and executed a Management buyout and sale of the Company at the top of the market in March 2007.  After the sale of Border, he formed NumberKrunchers and Balance Business Strategies with the goal of enhancing other Companies’ value by providing practical and proven financial and operational solutions. 

Bill is a Planning and Zoning Commissioner for the City of Chandler and has been involved in many Civic activities within the City of Chandler.  He and his wife Ingrid reside there and they have two grown children.
